Maintenance free chains from Iris Chains are self-lubricated and highly resistant to corrosion. These transmission chains have a significantly longer useful service life, and are suitable for applications where applying lubricant is difficult or where the machines and materials must remain clean, with operating speeds up to 3 m/s.
With these self-lubricated chains, efficiency is maximised, as regular stoppages for maintenance are avoided. Also, maintenance free chains from Iris are clean and dry, which contributes to protecting the environment as it prevents having to re-apply lubricant. Electroless nickel plated chains are optimised against corrosion.
